Coach are trying to attract a higher class of customer via their Legacy Boutiques. They are using limited edition releases to make their handbags more attractive to the type of person who prides herself on having a high demand but limited edition handbag.

They also produce some very expensive alligator and crocodile handbags in the region of $10-$12k.

Most of the best handbags originate from Europe, but Coach is one of the few American companies

that has a foothold in this market and they are only getting larger.
